Prerequisite: PHTA 112, 115, and 116 with a grade of "C" or better or department approval This course is a continuation of the skills and knowledge acquired in PHTA 115, focusing on orthopedic and arthritic conditions and their therapeutic management. Therapeutic exercise including stretching and strengthening, postural training, mechanical traction, goniometry, manual muscle testing and the understanding of common special tests performed by the physical therapist and physician are covered.
