Prerequisite: None Students will receive an overview of investing of such mysterious terms as "load" and "no load" funds, "tax free" and "taxable" stocks and bonds, "money market funds," and "growth"; investment opportunities for the small investor; how funds are set up and regulated; and how to evaluate a fund's performance. Participants will be taught how to read a prospectus and how to develop individual investment strategies. Two four-hour sessions or equivalent.
