Prerequisite: None This course is designed to help the participants get started on becoming self-employed consultants. It will outline the basic steps needed to assess personal, marketable skills and how to translate them into a full or part-time consultant business. The course will cover locating business resources and networks; working with lawyers, accountants and other professionals; reviewing start-up considerations including types of ownership, licensing requirements, and identifying fundamental marketing considerations.
