Prerequisite: ARCTK 113 and 114 This is one of three courses offered through the Illinois Department of Transportation in cooperation with Illinois Central College. The student will be introduced to a study of horizontal and vertical surveying needed to design and to build a highway. Additional topics may be introduced from the text and the professor. Three lecture hours per week and daily work in the field on a survey party for a two-month period.
