This course introduces the student to the scaffold building industry. The student will learn about the different types of scaffold and terms: stationary, mobile, and suspension scaffolds. Includes an overview of the safety regulations and guidelines of the industry, safe use and applications of hand and power tools used in the trade. Explains math calculations of scaffold loads, live loads, and wind loads. ( Prerequisites: Pass a drug test and COMPASS math score of 39 or higher.)
