Introduces the carpentry trade, tools and materials. Concentrates on rough carpentry used in floor systems, framing walls, ceilings and roofs as well as windows, doors and weather stripping. Uses NCCER instructional modules. (Prerequisite: Pass a drug test and COMPASS math score of 39 or higher. Course fee - $75)
