Provides background in basic and applied microbiology, with emphasis on the role microorganisms play in human health, as preparation for allied health careers. Includes a 3-hour laboratory component per week. (Prerequisite: BIOL 100X, or BIOL 105X and BIOL 106X; CHEM 103 recommended. Lab fee - $35)
