Prerequisite: ENG 20B & C & D & E OR ESL 11 & 13 & 14 & 17 OR placement in ENG 22/60 Meteorology 101 studies the physical principles governing the behavior of Earth's atmosphere, describes the characteristics of major weather systems and forecasting, sun-Earth-ocean-atmosphere interactions, and the impacts of weather on man and vice-versa, with special emphasis on Hawai'i.
