Recommended Prep: FIRE 100 and FIRE 102 This course introduces new technologies for fire detection and suppression systems. It provides basic information on various detection and extinguishing systems found in most types of structures. Occupancy regulations and building and fire codes are discussed in regard to mandatory detection and extinguishing systems. (3 hrs. lect. per week)
