Prerequisite: AMT 53 and AMT 55 Corequisite: AMT 50 AMT majors only. In this class, students will learn shop safety, proper use of related tools and equipment. The various designs of manual transmissions, differentials, and transaxles are covered in this course along with the many drive line components found in the undercarriage of the automobile. Each major component is covered in detail, including such topics as purpose, application, operation, inspection, diagnosis, and repair. Course includes live work. (150 hrs. lect./lab. per term)
