Emphasis is placed on the relationship between structure and function, especially in animals that represent different levels of evolutionary development. Topics include anatomy, physiology, behavior, ecology, reproduction, genetics, and development. Laboratory work includes experiments in animal behavior and ecology as well as animal dissection. Required field trips.
