(3 Hours) Prerequisite: CJ 100 Introduction to Criminal Justice Provides instruction in the study of the police within a spec- trum of critical issues such as the police role in democracy, ethnic tensions and the police, unionizing, and police profes- sionalism. Other vital areas of concern are civil disobedience, enforcement of the law, and police misconduct.
