(3 Hours) Prerequisite: AB 210 Crop Science Covers a wide array of management viewpoints. The farmer and rancher of the future must be well versed with forage and range management. This course devotes itself to principles of plant species selection, establishment, fertilization, weed con- trol, utilization and grazing of natural grasses as well as improved cultivators. Intensive grazing design as well as temporary forage systems, silage, and haying methods will also be discussed.
