(3 Hours) Prerequisite: AB 108 Principles of Animal Science Outlines the basic husbandry practices used in modern beef production. Attention is given to the latest advancements in technology as they apply to cattle production. Special empha- sis is concentrated on the areas of genetics, physiology of reproduction, beef nutrition, health programs, management methods; (e.g. cow-calf operations, feeder operations, feed- lots, etc.), and marketing methods commonly used in the beef industry.
