(2 Credit Hours) This course will cover the fundamentals of electrical power distribution. The course will cover both transmission lines and substations. The operation of distribution transformers, instrument transformers, circuit breakers, reclosers, sectionalizers, fuses, relays, and disconnects will be included. Concepts of substation and transmission line protection as well as construction will be covered.
