It identifies the specific responsibilities and functions of the Social Services Designee as a member of the Health Care Team. Utilizing a holistic approach, this course focuses on the residents' psychologi- cal, social, and spiritual needs as well as physical needs. Included is the role of the family and the caregiver in meeting the residents' needs.
