A laboratory course designed to develop basic aseptic and sterile techniques used in the perioperative care of the surgical patient. This course focuses on the surgical scrub, gowning and gloving, setting up a sterile field, draping, handling of surgical instruments, and surgical counts. Students practice techniques in a guided lab setting. Prerequisites: SRG 101 Co-requisites: SRG 120, SRG 140, and SRG 160 must be taken concurrently.
