(2 Credit Hours) An introduction to the role of the pharmacy technician in the delivery of pharmacy services. Discussion topics include ethical, legal, and professional issues related to the practice of pharmacy. Special emphasis is placed on pharmaceutical terminology, specific distribution systems, pharmacy standards, and the role of the technician. Two hours of lecture per week.
