(4 Credit Hours) Provides opportunity for application of the techniques learned in PTA 262 with an emphasis on the functional approach to patient treatment. This includes the use of Neurodevelopmental Treatment and Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation for adults with neurological conditions such as traumatic brain injury and cerebrovascular accidents. Students practice techniques in a guided lab setting. Prerequisites: Admission to the PTA program and PTA 132 Co-requisites: PTA 250, PTA 254, PTA 262, PTA 264, and PTA 291 must be taken concurrently.
