(1 Credit Hour) This course covers the elementary functions of use and application of the electronic probe on a Vertical Machining Center. Topics covered in this course include: set-up and calibration of the probe, and use and application of the following cycles - Bore/Boss measuring cycle, Web/ Pocket measuring cycle, and internal and external cycles. Students will be involved in both classroom and laboratory applications activities. Prerequisites: MPS 145
