(3 Credit Hours) This course provides an understanding of trial practice in both civil and criminal trials beginning with a review of the preparation of the basic pleading necessary to institute and respond to a civil law suit and the necessary elements of a criminal complaint, warrant, and grand-jury indictment. The course focuses on the discovery process under both the state and federal court rules. Prerequisites: LGA 121, completion of or concurrent enrollment in LGA 122
