(3 Credit Hours) This course introduces the student to fundamental principles of computer investigations. Emphasis will be on computer forensics tools, information protection, professional development and security. The course explores various types of cyber crime and investigative techniques applicable to them. Students will examine emerging technologies used in law enforcement in relation to computer-related crime. Prerequisites: CRJ 134 and HFCC Computer Literacy requirement
