This course is the first of four courses preparing students for the CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) certification. This course will introduce students to fundamental networking concepts and technologies. Course topics include: the OSI and TCP/IP network models; networking devices and components; network addressing schemes; types of network media; building simple networks; and basic router and switch configuration. Note: CNT 110 is offered the first 8 weeks of both the Fall and Winter semesters
