Web Analytics provides sophisticated traffic information about a website, and is a must for every business entity with an internet presence. It delivers a comprehensive array of business intelligence and visitor behavior insights. Google provides a free analytics service which has already captured a major share of the analytics market. This course will introduce the learner to Google Analytics. They will also learn about SEO, Search Engine Optimization and techniques to raise the ranking of a web site within search engines. The student will build their own web site, evaluate it for optimization and analyze the site for traffic flow. (Prerq: MGDP1250) (BP) 3 cr
