PreReq: Eng 21 or placement in Eng 102; and Eng 22 or ESL 15 or placement in Eng 100 Course introduces students to the theory, methods, and practical application of community development studies. The course will review diverse types of successful community organizing projects with concern for the ethics, strategies and means available for successful community development. The course will involve significant participation in organizing community groups. (3 lec hrs.)
