PreReq: "C" or better in Acc 20; and "C" or better in Eng 21 or placemein Eng 102 A practical "hands-on" accounting course designed to apply thestudent's knowledge of fundamental accounting principles in a computerized environment. Emphasis will be placed on the application of a computerized general ledger package to the accounting cycle, including processing journal entries, general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and financial statement analysis. Students will maintain accounting records on the computer using a commercial or educational accounting software package. (3 lec hrs.)
