This course is designed to study the most current and pressing issues in nursing theory, education and service. Discussion will be centered around the contributions made by groups and individuals to the profession of nursing, legal and ethical influences upon nursing and the role of the technical nurse. Types of nursing care, management of patient care and the role of the professional nurse will also be studied. Prerequisites: NUR 2414, NUR 2424, NUR 1314.
