This course is designed to enable the student to further expand upon previous learning. It will include acute adult, medical-surgical health care issues. The student is expected to use the nursing process in delivery of care in conjunction withotherhealthteammembers. Clinicalexperiences focus on organization of care for small groups of patients in the acute care setting, extended care and observational experiences. The client and family will continue to be viewed in a holistic manner using developmental biopsychosocial and sociocultural principles.Prerequisites: NUR 2414, NUR 2424, NUR 1314,
