Two-part systematic treatment of intervals; chromatic tones with obvious key-relationships, along with common augmented and diminished intervals. Rhythm development is elaborated. Lengthy solfeggi from German, French and English sources incorporate both fugue and canon. Chromatic passages lying outside the signature are introduced. Modulation and independence of parts will be stressed.
