This course is designed for the currently certified EMT-Basic who wish to expand their level of training to that of the EMT - Intermediate in the state of Kansas. The course will review EMT - Basic materials and present new knowledge and skills of Intravenous Therapy, Phlebotomy, Nebulized Breathing Treatments, and Endotracheal Intubation. In addition to the classroom and lab work, students will participate in a minimum of 72 clock hours of Clinical and Field Training. Prerequisite: Current certifications of: EMT-Basic and CPR at the Healthcare Provider level.
