This course will discuss the impact of activities on the physical and mental status of the elderly resident, various therapeutic activitiesandmethodstorecruitandutilizevolunteers, and mechanics of group and individual participation. Prerequisites are ALH 1511, 1521 and 1531. At the completion of 1541, the person is eligible to be certified as an activity director for long-term facilities.
