Course focuses on the knowledge needed by employees to insure their safety in the workplace. Curriculum introduces concepts in employee rights, teen worker issues, hazard identification, avoidance, and proper chemical (HAZCOM) handling. Slips/trips and falls, electrical, fire, and food safety are just a few of the topics discussed. Students successfully completing this course will receive a certificate of training and the OSHA 10-Hour General Industry Card. This course is designed to meet the needs of employers and employees wanting a better working knowledge of workplace safety.
