Provides students with a vehicle to pursue in depth exploration of special topics of interest. Dental Materials (2)(1-2-0) Prerequisite: Enrollment in the Dental Hygiene Program. Provides the dental hygiene student with a sound knowledge of the science of dental materials. Covers didactic and laboratory experiences and the physical properties, basic chemistry, and the clinical applications of the materials used in the practice of dentistry.
