0 Cr. Hrs This course is required by Medicaid in order to provide home care to persons with developmental disabilities. Included in the course is the study of positive programming techniques and behavioral strategies for persons who are disabled. Practical experience in the development of individual learning plans is included in the course. The course meets Medicaid requirements and is designed for personal care providers, ICP-MR employees, shelter home employees, job coaches, parents, special education teachers, and classroom assistants.
