1 Cr. Hr Course examines the proper use and maintenance of hand and power tools used in the construction industry. This is also an intense study of workshop, jobsite, tool, and hazardous material safety. Topics include safety of self, safety of others, safe worksites, fire and electrical hazards. There will be an introduction to safe scaffolding and rigging practices. Safe handling and storage of hazardous materials such as paints, stains, and glues will be addressed.
