8 Cr. Hrs A study in general service and installation of heat pumps. Students will learn the refrigeration cycle as applied to heat pumps along with the electrical circuits and controls. Psychometrics of air will be studied along with processes of dehydration and humidification control. Cooling and heating loads will be calculated for proper application of heat pumps.
