Hrs This course will introduce the student to a systematic approach to screening, initial assessment and treatment planning to determine the most appropriate course of treatment action given the client's needs and available resources. This is a collaborative process in which students will learn to value the client's current perspective as well as the stage of readiness for treatment. Students will be expected to synthesize and appropriately document the results of the screening and assessment process.
