Te clinical portion of the course allows the student to put into action the theory acquired in previous courses. Hand washing, gowning, self and other, gloving self and other, establishing and maintaining a sterile feld, getting to the feld successfully. Writing assignments, as appropriate to the discipline, are part of the course. Prerequisite: Admission into the Surgical Technology program/plan 267 or 268. 15 lab hours per week. 3 credit hours.
