Di- agnostic tests and their interpretations, urinalysis, collection and examination, hematology, serology, clinical chemistry, including Na+ and K+, fame photometry, diagnostic tests for renal, pulmonary, cardiovascular disorders, EKG and EEG overview. Writing assignments, as appropriate to the discipline, are part of the course. Prerequisite: Admission into the Renal Technology program/plan 247 or 248. 6 lab hours per week. 3 credit hours.
