Introduction to age appropriate considerations of patient education, application of therapeutic modalities and manifestations of cardiopulmonary diseases throughout the human life span. Tis course will also address managed care, management, patient care plans and alternate sites of care. Writing assignments, as appropriate to the discipline, are part of the course. Prerequisite: Respiratory Care courses 129, and 146, or Consent of Department Chairperson. 2lecture and 2 lab hours per week. 3 credit hours.
