Continuation of clinical experience in medical facility. Primary emphasis on developing new skills in care and treatment of acute and chronic renal patient; equipment maintenance procedures, emergency procedures, special procedures patient dietary and fuid regulation. Writing assignments, as appropriate to the discipline, are part of the course. Prerequisite: Admission into the Renal Technology program/plan 247 or 248. 1lecture and 4 lab hours per week. 3 credit hours.
