For students who need to improve their reading skills; efcient reading of textbooks and other materials including work in mechanics of reading, vocabulary development, comprehension, and rate of reading. Writing assignments, as appropriate to the discipline, are part of the course. Prerequisite: Placement Test, or Grade of C or better in Reading 099, or Consent of Department Chairperson. 150 minutes per week. 3 credit hours.
