In depth presentation, discussion, demonstration of specifc pediatric/neonatal ventilator systems, CPAP circuits, practice and testing. Continuation of adult ventilator practice, practice and integration of other critical care procedures. Writing assignments, as appropriate to the discipline, are part of the course. Prerequisite: Respiratory Care courses 129, and 146, or Consent of Department Chairperson. 4 lab hours per week. 2 credit hours.
