Introduction to the hospital setting and the set-up, maintenance and discontinuation of oxygen; aerosol and humidity therapy; intermittent modalities to include bronchial hygiene and hyperin-fation therapies. Writing assignments, as appropriate to the discipline, are part of the course. Prerequisite: Respiratory Care courses 114, and 116, and 117, and 118, and 119 or Consent of Department Chairperson. 12 lab hours per week. 3 credit hours.
