A survey of topics presented by the Director of the Mortuary Science program, providing an overview of various tasks and subjects a director will encounter in the role of a practitioner. Legal and Moral Ethics are covered. An overview of the curriculum and the practical application of theory as it relates to the ethnical practice of mortuary science. Exit Examinations/Core Competency Capstone Course. Writing assignments, as appropriate to the discipline, are part of the course. Prerequisite: Acceptance into the Mortuary Science program/plan 257. 100 minutes per week. 2 credit hours.
