Tis course provides continued instruction which was introduced in EMT 221. Te content focuses on the assessment, management and stabilization of various patient conditions. Tis course follows the United States Department of Transportation Guidelines for Paramedic Training. Writing assignments, as appropriate to the discipline, are part of the course. Prerequisite: Successful completion of EMT 221; Successful completion of EMT 222; Concurrent enrollment in EMT 224, Current EMT-B Illinois State License and Consent of Department Chairperson. 450 minutes per week. 9 credit hours.
