Basic skills applicable to the clinical environment including interpretation and theory of body fuids and tissues, and their implications in arriving at preliminary diagnosis. Topics include clinical biochemistry, hematology and urinalysis. Writing assignments, as appropriate to the discipline, are part of the course. Prerequisite: Physician Assistant 110 with a grade of C or better, and Admission into the Physician Assistant program/plan 262. 2lecture and 4 lab hours per week. 4 credit hours.
