Fundamental concepts of computer programs as exemplifed in the electronic spreadsheet. Emphasis on business applications and personal fnancial management and tax preparation. Writing assignments, as appropriate to the discipline, are part of the course. Not more than three credit hours will count towards the CIS/IT degree requirements. Additional earned credit hours up to 6 will be counted towards elective credit and requires the Consent of Department Chairperson. 150 minutes per week. 3 credit hours.
