Tis course covers the physical, chemical and microscopic examination of urine and disease correlations; the analysis of other body fuids such as cerebrospinal fuid, seminal fuid, synovial fuid, serous fuid (pleural, pericardial, peritoneal). Writing assignments, as appropriate to the discipline, are part of the course. Prerequisite: Admission to the Clinical Laboratory Technology program/plan 236, or Consent of Department Chairperson. 2 lecture and 2 lab hours per week. 3 credit hours.
