Teory and practice of early childhood education emphasizes develop-mentally appropriate curriculum program planning, learning environment and the role of the teacher as facilitator. Field experience of three hours per week in early childhood program required. Writing assignments, as appropriate to the discipline, are part of the course. Prerequisite: Grade of C or better in Child Development 101. 200 minutes per week. 4 credit hours.
